It was founded in 1969 as a factory producing technical and programming devices for database teleprocessing and telecommunications. During the last years and mainly after the privatization “Carat Electronics” JSC has specialized in a wide range of hi-tech products for computing equipments and now is one of the leading Bulgarian producers of electronic devices with fiscal memory. They are well accepted by the internal, as well as by the foreign markets (Romania, Moldova, Russia, Uzbekistan, Serbia and Montenegro etc.).
